I can't believe its taken me years to leave a review, I come here atleast once a week! The food is always fresh and delicious. The street tacos have so much flavor and juice. Birria is delicious. Tamales are delicious. Service is great. Salsa is fresh. Guacamole is delicious. Locally owned and operated. No place compares for chicken street tacos or their chicke tamale with green sauce. Birria tacos yum. Love love love.

So we stopped by for lunch, we were rushed for time, but it was amazing. So we came back for dinner. At lunch it was empty and we thought we found a hidden gym. But a dinner we realized it wasn't hidden. Absolutely a must stop for Hispanic food lovers. I can not believe I have not heard about this place.

Apr 2nd, another amazing meal! Update: We enjoyed having the gracious owner wait on us last visit, their new assistant Chef is doing a good job 👏 This place makes me happy! My family had a great dinner in the new location last night. Be sure to try the chori-cheese dip, it is amazing! Excellent quality, their fajita meat is seasoned nicely with tons of flavor, and the service was great too

Mr G, Maru, and staff are great! Their So-Cal style Mexican food never disappoints and the service is excellent. My family has been eating at El Monarca since they first opened in their original location in Nixa and we have never had a bad experience. Highly recommend!
